Once again, Easter is just around the corner, which means Raby
Castle will be opening its doors to the public
for the first time this season for the Easter Egg-stravaganza, a
treasure trail through the 18th Century Walled Gardens from Saturday
22nd to Monday 24th March. Children are invited to follow the clues
around the gardens, collecting stamps on the way that will lead
to a feast of prizes!
Throughout the weekend there are also craft workshops (included
in £2.50 special events children's admission price.)
Every child paying entry will have the opportunity to make
and take home a craft item. Darlington based party specialists,
Wildchilds will be running the workshops.

Finally, there will be a selection of supervised traditional garden
games for all the family to enjoy in the East Garden.
Katie Blundell, Raby Castle 's Marketing and Events Supervisor
says; 'This is a super event for all the family
and a great way to explore the fine gardens at Raby. The treasure
trail will lead you all around the gardens to your final destination
where there will be a mountain of Easter Eggs to choose from! The
fabulous crafts by Wildchilds and the traditional gardens games
just add to the fun.'
Easter Egg Trail, Park, Gardens and Tearooms open 11am - 5pm (4.30pm
for Treasure Trail and craft workshop) and the Castle will be open
12.30 to 5pm.
