Raby Castle has yet again created that special
traditional Christmas magic!
The
Coach Yard and Gift Shop has been transformed into a wonderful Christmas
Shop and Tearooms.
You can buy everything you need for the festive season. The Christmas
Shop has a huge selection of traditional and unusual gifts and stocking
fillers. Once you have finished in our winter wonderland complete
your day at Raby with a visit to the Stable Tearooms that prides
itself on home cooking, where you can relax and treat yourself to
a dish from the superb menu. The Tearooms also have a fine selection
of festive meats for that Christmas feast.

Choose an Estate grown
Christmas Trees just right for your home and select some lovely
decorations from our Christmas Gift Shop.
This
year, Raby has transformed an 18th century Riding School into a
magical grotto where we will take you on a journey through an enchanted
woodland that has been created from the Estate Christmas trees.
Cut out model animals are peeping through the undergrowth watching
you go over a humped back bridge, past a wishing well to Father
Christmas's log cabin where he will be waiting in his chair by his
log fire. Raby combines the traditional Christmas values with a
special magical atmosphere in the grotto and Christmas shop.
Please note that although the grotto is
indoors and we hope to keep queuing to a minimum, it is essential
to wrap up warm. At weekend peak times there may be long delays
to see Santa if you have not prebooked.
Please be advised that the Castle and Gardens
are closed to the public
