Raby Woodland Project

Raby plant around 30,000 conifer and 10,000 broad leaf trees every year, which will help maintain the important features of the landscape on a continuous basis. These trees have replaced many of those planted over 250 years ago, in this national award winning woodland project which will ensure that the landscape will be maintained with new growth.

The Raby Estates Woodlands have won many awards, including The Duke of Cornwall Award for Forestry and Conservation.

Christmas Trees

Christmas trees fresh from the Raby Estates Plantations are on sale throughout December at the Raby Castle Christmas Shop. From an abundant supply, choose a tree just right for your home. See Xmas at Raby

If help is needed, expert advice is available from the Raby Forestry Team who can assist you choose the perfect tree. As well as traditional Norway Spruce trees Raby also grow a new non-needle-drop variety. Heights of tree range from approximately 1 to 3.5 metres (3-12 ft). Larger trees can be arranged if required.

Each tree is individually priced, starting at £4.60 / metre (£1.40 / ft).
