We do expect a high volume of visitors and therefore have decided to open the Castle slightly earlier than normal, at 12.30pm instead of 1pm. Due to some space restrictions in some of...

Leave umbrellas at home, they make it harder to hear the performance and for others behind you to see. Wear a hat, a poncho and a smile instead! Looks like it might not rain ALL evening! The cold snap hit Raby Castle this week, but the ice and snow did not put off Press Association Photographer, Owen Humphreys as he ventured out in the freezing conditions in Raby Park to capture some stunning images of the landscape and wildlife. His photograph of our herd of red deer huddled together moving through the snow even made it onto the front covers of the national papers, including The Times and The Independent as well as numerous local papers and on-line galleries. We’re thrilled that Owen has allowed us to use some of his images to show our followers and they can be...
