Festive Market Weekend

Bring the family to our enchanting Festive Market and meet Father Christmas’ reindeer, Elvis the cheeky Christmas pony and explore our indoor Winter Wonderland and festive themed trail.

The market will be open on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December from 10am to 4pm. 

There will be stalls selling gifts, food and drink and decorations. Warm your hands on a cup of mulled wine as you browse and take a break in our Tearooms where refreshments will be served throughout the weekend. 
 
Christmas trees, grown locally on the Raby Estate, will be on sale in the Coach Yard along with a selection of handmade wreaths and decorative foliage.

Entry to our Festive Market and Meet the Reindeer is free of charge. 

Celebrate Christmas at Raby

Christmas trees, grown locally on the Raby Estate, will be on sale daily from 1st December.  

In our Riding School children can enjoy our Enchanted Festive Forest, Elf and Fairy Trail by Bright Woods Forest School and craft area. This will run daily in December from 10am to 4pm. Tickets £4.50 per child.

Christmas Shop and Tearooms open daily from 10am to 5pm. Free entry. 

The Deer Park and Gardens will be open in November and December (until 23rd December) between 10.30am and 3.30pm Tuesday to Sunday. Ticket prices are Adults £4.50, Children £2.50, under 5s free. Annual pass holders can visit for free. Please note the Castle and Walled Gardens are now closed for the Winter.

Festive Afternoon Tea will be served in the Castle’s Grand Entrance Hall on selected dates in December. Bookings are now being taken for family, friends and colleagues and take a seat beside the roaring log fire and huge Christmas tree.

Festive craft workshops, including Willow Craft Reindeer and Festive Wreaths, will be held on selected dates during December.

Father Christmas will be returning to his fireside chair in the Castle’s Grand Entrance Hall. New for this year - also enjoy a delicious breakfast or afternoon tea as part of selected sessions. Must be pre-booked.

The Castle will be floodlit from dusk during December, adding a magical atmosphere in the run up to the festive season.
