We are now offering visitors the chance to purchase a new 2014 season ticket through right here on our new website. A season ticket, which offers the holder unlimited visits to the Castle grounds and one visit to the castle itself until the end of September, can also be purchased on entry to the Castle grounds when they re-open for the new season on 19th April.
By purchasing a season ticket you will have unlimited access to the Park and Gardens in the stunning grounds of the Castle, which includes the Stables Tearooms, serving light lunches, cakes, drinks and snacks; the Gift Shop which stocks unique gifts, historical toys, books and not forgetting Raby Estates frozen venison and game; the Coach Houses which contain a fine collection of Horse Drawn Carriages on display; and the children’s woodland play area. Season tickets can also be used to gain admission to some events such as the popular Easter Egg Trail and activities, taking place in the Raby Gardens on 19th – 21st April.
Our very own Marketing & Events Supervisor, Rachel says: “The season ticket really does offer superb value, not only does it allow visitors to come to the shop, tearoom, play area and gardens as often as they like, also included in the price is one visit to look around the inside of the castle too” she goes on to say, “we want local people to come and enjoy the wide open spaces and beautiful surroundings we have.”
An adult ticket costs £20 and a child (aged 5-15 years) ticket is £8, there are further savings to be made for families with a ticket for 2 adults and 2 children for £45.
