Raby Castle will be open for the first time during October Half Term this year giving families an opportunity to enjoy spooky treasure trails, children’s castle tours, games, crafts and much more.
The tearooms and gift shop are now open daily throughout the year from 9am. The Park and Gardens will also be open daily until November 4th. Special autumn and Halloween themed children’s events will be held throughout the Half Term holidays from Saturday 20th October to Sunday 4th November.
Families can explore the 200-acre deer park and take part in a Halloween Trail through the park and gardens, where children can search for spooky clues. There is no need to book but a park and gardens ticket is required.
Children's Tours of the Castle
Raby Castle’s friendly footman will be hosting his popular interactive children’s tours of the castle every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout October half term. Find out what it was like to be knighted and how the Castle was defended from attack. Children's places on the tour are limited so advanced booking is advised.
