Easter Saturday marks the beginning of the open season for Raby Castle, Park & Gardens, which will now be open from Wednesday to Sunday each week until the end of September. This is the first time the Castle and grounds have been open on Saturdays. As well as this, during the peak summer season in July and August, the Castle, Park & gardens will be open each Tuesday and bank holidays as well – giving you even more opportunities to visit! County Durham Federation of Young Farmers Clubs are again organising a pleasure ride to help them raise funds for their organisation. There will be the option to complete either a 5 mile or 10 mile ride which is off-road on private land, in a virtually traffic free area of fantastic scenery.
